Tips
- Mark and photograph: put masking tape on each defect and take a photo with the tape in view, so the contractor can find it and you have a record.
- Note the room and wall: e.g. "Bedroom 2, wall facing window, crack near switch".
- One report, complete: walk the whole flat before reporting, so HDB fixes everything in one round.
- Check again after repairs: use the closing inspection to confirm each item is fixed before renovation starts.
