How much grant can a first-timer get on a BTO flat?
Up to $120,000 from the Enhanced CPF Housing Grant (EHG). On a new flat it is the only grant for first-timers, and the amount depends on your household income: the lower it is, the more you get. It stops above $9,000 a month. See the full EHG table.
What is the BTO income ceiling in 2026?
From 24 Aug 2026, $16,000 a month for families and $8,000 for singles buying alone. Earning up to the ceiling lets you apply for a BTO flat; the EHG has its own lower ceiling of $9,000.
Can we get the Family Grant or PHG on a BTO flat?
No. The Family Grant and the Proximity Housing Grant are for resale flats only. That is why a first-timer family can get up to $230,000 on resale but up to $120,000 on a BTO. The checker shows both so you can compare.
Is this an official HDB tool?
